Red Carpet Inn at 1200 North Frontage Road, Palatine, Illinois.

I paid $68 dollars two nights ago to stay in this hotel. It was the worst experience. We stopped here first of all because it was the closest hotel within my radius that had a swimming pool and I promised my children we would stay somewhere with a pool. We woke up in the morning to take the kids swimming and got to the pool to just find out then and there that it was shut down. Nobody informed us when we checked in that their pool was shut down. Also we stayed in room #205 the beds were so uncomfortable. There was a huge lump in the middle of the left bed you couldn't even sleep on it. Last but not least our shower didn't work. I turned it on to shower my children before leaving and the shower dripped little water. I informed the front desk about all of those things. The only thing the lady could tell me was she will "get it fixed" these people should have tried to correct the problem at least or give me some of my money back and they did nothing. I would not recommend staying here pay an extra 20 dollars to stay at the other hotel down the street. This hotel sucked!
